Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 August 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Good Boy Ben mobile applications and related services at goodboyben.app, api.goodboyben.app and safety.goodboyben.app (together, the “Service”).

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by QLG Media Ltd, company number 14730927, registered at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”). Contact us at [email protected].

2. What Good Boy Ben does

Good Boy Ben is a reminder and record-keeping tool for human and pet medication. It can schedule reminders, record dose status, show history and, for eligible Premium users, provide additional profiles, medications, schedules and Safety Net features.

3. Not medical, veterinary or emergency advice

Good Boy Ben is not a medical device, emergency service, substitute caregiver, or source of medical, veterinary, diagnostic or therapeutic advice. Always follow instructions from your doctor, pharmacist or veterinary professional. Do not delay seeking professional or emergency help because of information—or the absence of an alert—from the Service.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for entering accurate schedules, keeping your device charged and connected where needed, permitting notifications, checking that reminders operate as expected, and deciding whether and how medication should be taken. You must not use the Service unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use Safety Net to contact someone without permission.

5. Free and Premium features

The app can be downloaded free of charge and provides a limited reminder experience without a subscription. Premium features require an auto-renewable subscription. The available plans, trial eligibility, local price, billing period and included features are displayed in the app and by Apple App Store or Google Play before purchase. Store-displayed information controls if it differs from these Terms.

6. Trials, payment and renewal

Apple customers are also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with mandatory store terms, the mandatory store terms apply.

7. Safety Net

Safety Net is an optional Premium feature currently available for eligible mobile numbers in the United States and Canada. Other countries shown in the app remain unavailable until an appropriate local messaging route is active. It may send one private text to a verified trusted contact if a dose remains unconfirmed after your selected grace period. Up to 20 escalation texts may be available per month, as shown in the app. Limits may change for future billing periods.

You confirm that:

Text delivery is not guaranteed. Alerts may be late, blocked or incorrect because of network, carrier, device, configuration, subscription, synchronisation or service failures. If your device is offline, an alert could be sent even though a dose was taken but the confirmation did not reach us. Do not rely on Safety Net for emergencies, critical supervision or time-sensitive clinical decisions.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how the Service handles information. By using optional Safety Net features, you instruct us to process the limited reminder status and contact information necessary to provide them.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a dependable service but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available operation. We may maintain, change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Paid users retain any rights provided by applicable consumer law if a material change adversely affects a purchased service.

10. Intellectual property

The app, branding, software and original content are owned by or licensed to QLG Media Ltd. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app-store licence.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate data entered by you, failure to follow professional advice, unavailable notifications or telecommunications, or use of the Service as an emergency or medical decision system.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the paid Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in that period. Consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.

12. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete Safety Net data in the app, remove the app from your device, and separately cancel any active subscription through the relevant store. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users or infrastructure, or comply with law.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory rights and forums available under the laws where they live.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice where required. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
