These Terms govern your use of the Good Boy Ben mobile application ("the App") and the related services at goodboyben.app and api.goodboyben.app (together, "the Service"). Please read them carefully.
The Service is provided by QLG Media Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 14730927, whose registered office is at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"). QLG Media Ltd is registered for UK VAT. You can contact us at [email protected].
Good Boy Ben is a medication reminder app for humans and pets. It allows you to schedule pill reminders, record whether you have taken, skipped or missed a dose, view your adherence history, and — if you choose to use the optional premium feature known as "The Pack" — share a daily summary of your adherence with up to four other users.
Good Boy Ben is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, veterinary, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice. You should always follow the advice of your doctor, pharmacist or vet regarding any medication. QLG Media Ltd is not liable for any consequences of taking, missing, or misusing any medication.
You can use the core features of the App without creating an account. A free account is required only if you use The Pack. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be aged 16 or over (UK/EU) or 13 or over (elsewhere) to create an account.
The App is available as a free download. Premium features require a paid subscription. We currently offer:
Prices in other markets are set in local currency and may differ. Local taxes (including UK VAT) are collected and remitted by Google on our behalf as merchant of record via the Google Play Store.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time via your Google Play account. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not entitle you to a pro-rata refund for the current period.
Free trial: If you begin the free trial and do not cancel before it ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription you selected. You can cancel the trial at any time via your Google Play account.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period to cancel a digital services contract. By starting the free trial, or by using the premium Service within the cooling-off period, you expressly consent to the Service being supplied immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once supply has begun. You may still cancel the subscription at any time via Google Play to stop future renewals.
All purchases are processed by Google Play. Refunds are handled under Google's refund policy. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact Google Play support in the first instance. You may also contact us at [email protected] and we will help where we can.
If you create or join a Pack, you expressly consent to share a daily summary of your medication adherence with other members of that Pack (total doses, taken, skipped and missed counts). We do not share pill names, doses or notes with Pack members under any circumstances. You can leave a Pack at any time within the App, which will remove your adherence data from that Pack immediately.
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the Service; use the Service to harass another person; attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; use automated means to interact with the Service other than as provided by our App; or use the Service in any way that breaches applicable law.
We work hard to keep the Service available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, change or temporarily suspend the Service, or any feature of it, at any time. If we make a material adverse change to a subscription you have already paid for, we will notify you and, where appropriate, offer a pro-rata refund.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot by law be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you have paid to us in subscription fees in that period. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or purely economic loss.
The App is a reminder tool — you remain solely responsible for deciding whether, when and how to take any medication.
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the App and cancelling any active subscription via Google Play. We can suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except that if you are a consumer resident in another part of the UK or the EU, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the jurisdiction in which you reside.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App and update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
