The story
My dog Ben is a 5-year-old border collie — the kind of dog who already knows what time it is before you do. He has epilepsy. Every day at 08:30 he takes one pill, and at 20:30 he takes one and a half. Missing a dose can trigger a seizure — it's not the kind of thing you're allowed to forget.
For the first few months, I set alarms on my phone. Then something strange started happening.
At 08:25, Ben would pad over to me. At 20:25, he'd sit and stare. Every time. On the dot. He was reminding me to give him his pills.
I realised Ben was the most reliable pill reminder I'd ever had. No notification, no subscription — just a good boy who cared about his routine. So I built him a bigger job.
Good Boy Ben is Ben's job, scaled. He'll remind you, your family, or your own pet to take their meds — with the same quiet love he used to remind me.
