Safety Net SMS consent flow
This page documents how a trusted contact knowingly opts in to transactional medication check-in alerts from Good Boy Ben at +1 855 236 1096.
How consent works
Contact agrees first
The app user asks one trusted person for permission to send an invitation and possible medication check-in alerts.
App user records that permission
The user enters a name or relationship label, selects a supported country, enters the mobile number and must check: “My contact has agreed to receive an invitation and possible medication check-in texts.” The invitation button remains unavailable until this is checked. Up to three contacts can be added.
Recipient confirms by text
The trusted contact receives a one-time invitation containing a unique six-character code. They must reply YES <code>. Safety Net cannot be enabled before that valid reply is received.
Consent remains controllable
The contact receives a confirmation, can reply STOP at any time, and can use START or UNSTOP to remove a carrier block. Reply HELP for standard assistance.
Production message samples
Message frequency varies. The app account has one shared allowance of up to 20 medication check-in texts per calendar month across all recipients, plus occasional invitations or consent confirmations. Carrier message and data rates may apply.
